The Settings feature is the engine room of your business operations on Heyy. It defines how everything works, laying the core foundation for your customer messaging journey and overall platform usage.

Accessing Settings

To access Settings:
  1. Go to the top right corner of your Heyy Dashboard (Heyy Hub).
  2. Click the gear icon next to your username.
  3. You will land on the Settings page, where all configuration options are available in the left panel.

General Settings

The General settings group contains the foundational options that define your business and team setup.

Profile

Manage your personal information and notification preferences:
  • Full name – update first and last name
  • Email address – view and edit
  • Phone number – view and edit
  • Message notification sounds – enable or disable

Business

Configure your business-specific settings:
  • Business name – displayed across the platform
  • Time zone – ensures accurate scheduling and timestamps
  • Logo (optional) – used throughout Heyy
  • Working hours – set the business hours for each day of the week; reflects across all channels

Members

Manage your team:
  • Add new members to your account
  • View existing members and their information

Teams

Organize your team into roles or groups:
  • Create teams for specific business functions
  • Assign members to relevant teams

Views

Create custom views for your contacts:
  • Organize contacts into different views for easier navigation
  • Useful for businesses with large contact lists
  • Quickly access subsets of your contacts without browsing the entire database

Channel Settings

The Channel settings group allows you to manage how your business interacts with customers.

Channels

Configure the different messaging channels connected to your business (e.g., WhatsApp, Messenger, etc.).

WhatsApp Templates

Create new WhatsApp templates for your business communications:
  • Predefined messages for notifications, promotions, or updates

Quick Replies

Set up quick replies to respond faster to common customer inquiries

Contacts Settings

The Contacts settings group allows you to organize and classify your contacts:
  • Labels – categorize contacts based on attributes, interests, or behavior
  • Attributes – add custom properties to contacts for better segmentation and personalization

Developer Settings

The Developers settings group provides tools for integrations and technical configurations.

API Keys

Create and manage API keys for integrating Heyy with other platforms

Webhooks

Create webhooks to receive real-time notifications from Heyy
