# How to invite teammates

> Bring your team into Heyy and choose the right role for each person.

Your workspace is better with more hands on deck. This is where you bring your team into Heyy so they can jump into conversations, manage inboxes, and help keep things running.

This is the page you land on when you click the gear icon next to your profile, then select **Team** from the **Settings** sidebar. From here you can see everyone with access to your workspace, their email, and their role, and invite new people in.

## Invite a team member

1. Click **Invite member** in the top right corner.
2. In the window that opens, type an email address and hit **Add**. You can add more than one email at once, so if you're bringing on a few people at the same time, just repeat that step before sending anything.
3. Click **Send invites**.

Each person you add gets a **role** dropdown next to their email, set to **Admin**, **Manager**, or **Member**.

Not sure which role to choose? See [Workspace roles](/help/managing-your-workspace/workspace-roles) for exactly what each one can and can't do.

<Tip>
  Quick rule: if someone only needs to handle their own conversations, choose **Member**. If they need to manage conversations and communication tools across the workspace, choose **Manager**. If they need to manage the workspace, settings, team, integrations, or billing, choose **Admin**.
</Tip>

Once someone accepts, they'll show up in your **Team** list with their name, email, and role, so you always know who has access and at what level.

<Note>
  Need to bring in someone outside your team instead? See [How to invite partners](/help/managing-your-workspace/workspace-members/how-to-invite-partners).
