# Search contacts

> Find contacts from the Contacts table search.

Use search on [**Contacts**](https://app.heyy.io/contacts) to quickly find people in your workspace table—by name, phone, email, or other indexed fields depending on your setup.

1. Open [**Contacts**](https://app.heyy.io/contacts).
2. Use the **search** field above the table.
3. Open a contact from the results to view the full record or related chats.

Search narrows the **current table context** (all contacts or an active [saved view](/help/contacts/search-and-filters/saved-contact-views)). For complex rules (labels, attributes, multiple conditions), use [Advanced filters](/help/contacts/search-and-filters/advanced-filters).
